Weddings are a beautiful whirlwind — and honestly, that’s one of the things I love most about them.

The morning with Emma and her bridesmaids started with soft laughter, clinking coffee mugs, and that buzz of excitement you can almost feel in the air. I arrived just as they were doing final touches on hair and makeup at Rosewood Cottage, and immediately, I could tell: this was going to be a good day.

Meanwhile, James was a few blocks away at Oakridge Inn, tying his bow tie (with a little help from YouTube — no shame, James!) and sharing a few nervous jokes with his groomsmen. Capturing those real, unstaged moments is one of my favorite parts of the day — when nerves and happiness blend together.

The ceremony at Willow Creek Estate was breathtaking. The light filtered perfectly through the trees as Emma walked down the aisle, and I swear, for a few seconds, it felt like the whole world paused. Moments like that — a shared smile, a teary glance — those are the frames that stay with you.

After the “I do’s,” the party really kicked off. Between the Golden Hour Band’s incredible setlist and the guests who clearly knew how to have a good time, the dance floor was packed all night. From heartfelt toasts to surprise dance-offs, I found myself smiling behind the camera almost the entire time.

Weddings aren’t just about the big moments; they’re about all the little ones too — the way a father holds his daughter’s hand a second longer, the way friends throw their heads back laughing, the way newlyweds steal a quiet look across a crowded room.

Every wedding day is a story, and every story deserves to be told beautifully.

Emma and James, thank you for letting me be a part of your day. Your love, your energy, and your kindness made it unforgettable.

Here’s to many more chapters ahead. ❤️
